Chevy Cobalt factory stereo?

ARRR !!! asked:


Has anyone replaced their Cobalt factory stereo and still retained the use of their steering wheel control functions? Or, does anyone know how to accomplish this?

   I had my taken out and a new harness put in for me to use another type of radio… the cobalts radio is like “daisy-chained” to the rest of the components in the car so you have to make sure you don’t mess them up.

   you need one of this

   and one more to remove the radio
